Swift boats.

I don’t see how the swift boat issue is relevant to the 2004 election.

If Bush and Kerry were truly “swift,” they would “move on” to something that matters today.

The Vietnam War does have historical importance. Nevertheless, more than just history ought to give us guidance as we look ahead to the future.

The Swift Boat story has become so important because John Kerry has chosen to make his history of the Vietnam War the focus of his campaign. Kerry is be challenged by on the only thing he has brought to the debate.

  2. Andrew Hagen Says:

I regret that both sides do not immediately drop the issue.

I totally agree. There are more pressing issues to be discussed than John Kerry’s war record. Although this is hurting him in the polls, I rather have more “intelligent” conversations echoing throughout my mind. Selah?
